A deflector redirects the wind coming up at your car, reduces the number of bugs hitting your windshield and protects the windshield from little stones that fly up from the road. Deflectors can be attached with screws or with hook-and-loop tape. - Clean the area where the deflector will be attached and let it dry.
- Test-fit the deflector to make sure it's centered, and note the location of the mounting tabs.
- Remove the deflector and clean with alcohol the area where the tabs met the hood.
- Reposition the deflector, then peel the backing from the tabs and press firmly.
- Give the adhesive about 24 hours to cure.
