Every car needs these items in the event of an emergency: - First-aid kit
- Flares
- Reflector
- Jumper cables
- Flashlight (check it every few months to make sure the batteries are still good)
- Tool kit
- Fire extinguisher
- Tape
- Tire gauge
- Tire sealant
Also, keep your jack, pry bar and lug wrench with the spare tire, and be sure the spare has enough air in it.
