- Mix acrylic paints with Gac 900 as manufacturer specifies.
Note: Place paper under very thin fabric to protect your furniture from paint. - Randomly paint butterflies by using one color for body, one color for upper wings, and one color for the lower wings and let dry.
- Outline the wings and paint curly antennas using the gold glitter paint (figure A) and let dry.
- Glue the lavender pompons to the inside edge (reverse side) of each curtain panel (figure B) with Fabri-Tac.
- Paint the shelf with a coordinating color.
- Give the material a little stitching on your machine right at the top (figure C) so that it will lay flat when you glue it to the shelf.
- Gather the fabric and attach the two panels to top edge of wooden shelf with hot glue.
- Hot glue pompon trim over the gathers along the shelf edge.
- Glue a butterfly (can purchase at craft store or florist) to the center of the shelf.
