Is it or isn't it gold fruit? You'll never tell, right? This simple project is fun to do -- and it looks great.

Materials: 14-karat gold or sterling silver spray paint Plastic fruit Cardboard box Decorative dish or tray - Make sure to buy paint that will really create that faux gold or silver look. There are paints that are specially made for this purpose. Paint that is just gold- or silver-colored won't give the beautiful look of precious metals.
- Place fruit inside a cardboard box.
- Spray the fruit in light, even coats, turning it as you spray to make sure the paint is coating the entire surface of the fruit.
- Let dry, then place the fruit on a tray or dish.
Tip: - Faux gold and silver sprays can do wonders for many objects you may have around the house, such as old frames, doorknobs, light fixtures, barrettes, etc.
Products: All of the materials for this craft can be found at craft or art stores.
