 Michele Beschen's tomato cage makes a great trellis for vines or it can stand on its own as just another natural sculpture for your yard!

Tomato Cage TrellisMaterials: long, flexible branches (willow branches work great) round, tapered tomato cage 20-gauge wire anvil pruners Note: It's easiest to work with the cage lying on its side. - Weave the long sticks through the grids on the cage from top to bottom.
- Put the wider portion of the stick at the bottom.
- Alternate the weave (figure A) so the branches aren't all on the outside or all on the inside of the cage.
- Secure branches with wire as you go and fill in accordingly.
- Even up the bottom branches by trimming with a prunerand then secure into the ground.
