What child—or childlike adult—wouldn't love these classic CopyCat® bobblehead dolls?
    Resin Cleaning Materials:

    hobby knife
    various sanding papers
    safety mask
    Zap-A-Gap super glue
Zip Kicker accelerator to immediately cure glue

    Paint Materials:

    Krylon Primer
acrylic paints/brushes and/ or other decorative finish
Krylon Crystal Clear Gloss or Matte Finish

    Casting Resin

    1. Dust the insides of the molds with baby powder. Secure with rubber bands.

    2. Stir 50/50 mix of resin casting Parts A and B compound. Approximately 8 ounces (4 ounces of each part) should fill both molds. Let set about 30-45 minutes. Remove rubber bands and resin casts.

    3. Clean resin copies by scraping away visible parting lines with hobby knife, and sanding rough edges. Fill holes with Zap-A-Gap super glue and Zip Kicker accelerator.

Safety Tip: Always wear a mask when sanding resin.

    4. To paint the bobblehead, prime the piece using Krylon white or grey interior/exterior primer.

    5. Paint the piece using acrylic or Cel-vinyl paints.

    6. Shine with a protective coating by using Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear Coat or Matte Finish.

Tip: With all paints and primers, always work using lots of thin layers. Get creative and try other mediums to finish your Copy Cat Bobblehead. Try decoupage, or attaching fur, or adding collars/clothing to your figurines.
