  • Quick Tip: Pussy Willows
  • From "DIY Gardening & Landscaping"
    episode DIG-103
    advertisement

To bring a bit of springtime indoors, cut pussy willows at exactly the stage you prefer -- tight buds or more fully open. Bring the branches in the house, says show host Kim Haworth, but don't put them in water. Instead, mist the branches with hair spray and they'll stay at that stage forever, ideal for dried-flower arrangements.
