To keep cut flowers looking fresh and healthy, follow these easy tips: - Use only healthy flowers -- no brown, droopy blossoms.
- Cut the stems at an angle under water, and strip off any leaves that will be under water.
- Place the flowers in lukewarm water, and change the water every other day.
- Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight, and cut the stems again anytime the blooms look wilted.
- Add a little lemon-lime soda to the water to give the flowers an extra kick.
