    Leveling the Grid

    1. The panels weigh about eight pounds each. So to accommodate for the weight of the panels, attach a couple of workout weights that weigh eight pounds – use hand weights with velcro for ease of use (figure A).

    2. Set the laser level on the base of the grid perimeter since you know the perimeter is level. Raise the grid and adjust and keep on adjusting the wire to match the laser level line (figure B). Then, give the wire a twist to securely fasten it (figure C).

    3. When leveling your grids, start from the center of the laser level and work your way out. Otherwise, you can’t see the laser line.

    4. Keep weights in the same spot for all three adjustments.

    5. To install short grid pieces, start from the center of the room and work your way out so you have even layout all the way around.

    6. Find the center of the short grid piece, then place it on the center of the wall and nail it in place (figure D).

    7. Take a measurement for the first piece and cut to size. Use a fine tooth pull saw to cut out a new notch.

    8. To make sure the grids are straight, you have to line up the edges. To line up the edges, you can use a piece of string pulled taut instead of a laser level (figure E).

    9. Using grid connectors, line them up with string line and snap in place (figure F).

    10. Position the first grid into place (figure G). The rest of the grids come already cut to size. Just snap them in place (figure H).
