Physical Characteristics - Round face
- Wide-set eyes with "eyeliner"

- Long, thick, silky hair.
Grooming - Brush daily to avoid tangles.
- Wash with baby shampoo.
- Blow-dry and comb with a wide-toothed comb, followed by a brush.
Notes: Persians shed a lot of hair, which can mean extra vacuuming! Colors - Solids: white, black, blue, red

Note: There are many more recognized colors in the Persian class. Common Health Problems - The Persian's short nose can make upper respiratory infections worse.
- Eyes need to be cleaned daily with a damp cotton swab.
- Too much eye drainage may be sign of an infection.
