Materials: Lamp with a flat shade Silk flowers Wire cutters Glue gun - Clip flower off its stem.
- Because the stem is no longer holding the flower together, now all the different layers of the flower will need to be glued together.
- Gently pull the first layer of the flower apart from the second layer.
- Stick the end of the glue gun into the space just created and apply a dab of glue. Press the flower back together.
- Repeat this process for all the other layers.
- Put an ample amount of glue on the back of the flower and press it firmly onto the lampshade.
- Repeat this process for as many flowers as you need to cover the lampshade.
Products: Stores such as Target or K-Mart have inexpensive lamps that will work with this project. The glue gun and silk flowers can be purchased at most craft stores.
