Once the most difficult part -- the end assembly -- has been created, assembling the frame and adding the shelf is much easier. Note: Project plans may be viewed with Materials: Electric saw Long wood scraps Thin plywood Pencil Loose tenons Wood glue - Use a scrap of wood to create a cleat to hold the shelf . Use three screws to secure the cleat to the inside of the stretcher.
- Use plywood template to trace arch pattern onto wood to create long aprons (if not already completed), and cut arch.
- Glue aprons into one pair of legs by joining the tenon system.
- Repeat for other end. Remove excess glue and place shelf on cleats.
