Organizing a Party- Whether is it Thanksgiving or a graduation barbequeplan ahead and make lists! It will save you time, reduce stress and you will be able to enjoy your guests.
- A simple notebook is a great way to keep all your details in one place. Be sure to keep track of who is invited and who has RSVP'd.
- Once the menu is planned, decide on whether you will be using plastic or china.
- Make a list of the amount of plates, cups and saucers, bowls, silverware, etc. that you will need and order accordingly.
- Don't be afraid to mix and match your china, stemware, etc.
- If you are having a buffet, wrap the silverware. Do not have the silverware at the start of the buffet line, have it at the end of the line.
- The one thing you don't want to forget isice! Make or buy plenty of ice cubes. Nothing kills a party more than running out of ice.
- Buy extra trash bags. And remember, it is easier to clean up before you go to bed.
