    Figure B

In this episode of Sew Much More, host Susan Khalje sews a dress any little girl would love to wear.

    Materials:
    1-1/2 yard colorful cotton
    3/4 yard contrasting piping
    Vogue pattern
    Interfacing
    Five 1/2" buttons
    Elastic thread
    All-purpose thread
    Pins
    Scissors

    Shirring

    1. Wind bobbin with elastic thread by hand to desire tightness. Use all-purpose thread on top of machine.
    2. Sew several rows of shirring (figure A), gathering as you go. Secure at ends.
    3. Measure finished front with pattern (figure B) to make sure it is the same size as needed for the dress.
