Materials: 1/8"-wide quilling paper in lemon yellow, medium yellow, mustard, olive green and white (figure A) Shadow box or frame of choice measuring approximately 9" x 11" with a 5"x 7" opening Quilling needle or corsage pin Clear-drying white craft glue Spray adhesive Straight pins Waxed paper Fabric of choice 1/4"-wide satin ribbon of choice Note: Cut the mustard, olive and white quilling paper in 12" lengths. Cut both the medium- and lemon-yellow paper into 6" lengths. - Roll 10 white teardrops, 8 olive teardrops, 12 mustard bunny-ears and 2 lemon-yellow and 3 medium-yellow tight circles. This is achieved by taking a quilling needle, inserting one end of the paper through and then rolling the paper (figure B) with the assistance of the needle.
- Once you have the paper rolled, apply a little craft glue on the end to keep the filigree in place, then pinch the rolled paper to resemble a bunny's ear (figure C).
- Place 5 white teardrops on waxed paper and glue points together. Glue 1 lemon-yellow tight circle to center. Repeat for second flower.
- Place 4 mustard bunny-ears on waxed paper and glue together with ears pointing out. Repeat for remaining 2 flowers. Glue 1 medium-yellow tight circle to the center of each flower.
- Cut a 5" length of olive paper to each flower to serve as stems.
- Mount fabric of choice onto the frame backer-board using the spray adhesive, and arrange flowers according to pattern.
- Glue in place.
- Gently curl small strips of olive paper to serve as tendrils, if desired.
- Tie a bow from ribbon of choice and glue in place.
- Mount finished piece in frame.
