Materials: One to four 5" x 8" magnetic sheets with adhesive backing
Assorted art papers or fabrics (figure A)
Spray can of acrylic clearcoat
Craft knife
Steel-edge ruler
Cutting board
Magnetic surface for display - Peel protective backing from adhesive magnets.
- Attach face down to wrong side of the paper (figure B).
- Cut paper to edge of magnet sheet.
- Burnish paper to seal adhesive.
- Spray with acrylic clearcoat to protect.
- Cut magnet sheets into different sizes and shapes -- squares, triangles and strips are the easiest.
- Mix and match on a magnetic surface.
Tip: Spray clearcoat outdoors on newspaper or in a spray box with adequate ventilation. Products: Supplies can be found at a craft store.
