    episode RCH-304

Question (from Dan and Barb of Scottsdale, AZ): My wife and I are retired and spend a lot of time traveling in an RV. Many of the RV parks have lakes or ponds nearby. What would you recommend as a good boat to travel with?

Chris answers: The type of boat -- whether it's a scale boat, race boat or whatever -- doesn't matter. What matters is the type of power. For this purpose, I strongly recommend electric power. RV parks often have noise ordinances, and electric power is very quiet. The second reason is that you can get an inexpensive quick-charger that can be used either with 110 ac or on-board 12-volt dc power. Happy RC-RV'ing!
