Torn and faded newspaper clippings become both illegible and fragile with time. Archival mist can prevent further damage to vintage clippings and documents, as well as providing a creating an acid-free buffer to newer clippings.

The vibrant designs of artwork can also be preserved with archival mist.

Many of us have vintage newspaper clipping, artwork, and documents that were printed before the introduction of acid-free paper. Never fear! Archival mist can be used to slow the ravages of time by buffering the acid in paper.

To use archival mist, simply shake the bottle, pump and spray approximately 6" from the paper (figure A). Spray both sides to ensure even, complete coverage.

Archival mist can be used to buffer acid on:

    • Newspaper clippings
    • Magazines
    • Movie and event tickets
    • Vintage fabric and lace
    • Letters, postcards
    • Official documents
    • Artwork
