Carefully "rolling" the stickers around the folded edges during application will allow the pages to open and close without difficulty.

The same technique can be adapted to other albums and themes — as indicated by this wedding page example.

Andrea Grossman is a woman who believes in the power of pets! She even allows her employees to bring their dogs to work. Grossman's love of animals is well-represented by this accordion page that features her dog, Beau.

    Materials:

    pet photos
    complementary stickers
    long border sticker roll
    small, spiral-bound album
craft knife and ruler or paper trimmer
    tape

    1. Measure photos and stickers, then measure page and trim excess material away. (Trim the page to fit both the photos and stickers that will surround them.)

    2. Eliminate extra pages from the back to prevent "fanning." Use extra pages to create the accordion fold.

    3. Next, trim the second page slightly shorter than the first (this prevents the fold from overlapping the spiral).

    4. Trim the third page of the accordion fold slightly longer than the first to create a pull-tab.

    5. Use tape to secure the pages. Tape the front surface of the folds to secure. Accordion fold so that second page folds back behind the first, and the third fold behind the second so that excess page extends beyond the first (the tab).

    6. Add photos to pages.

    7. Then, begin rolling long border sticker over the pages to camouflage seams. Roll the sticker around the edges instead of applying while accordion is flat (doing this will allow the pages to fold).

    8. Use scissors to trim excess stickers away, then add small sticker as pull tab on the extended third page.
