Stephanie Mercer shows a technique for creating an elegant look using silhouette stickers as embellishments. Materials: Solid papers (here, pink and purple are used)
Silhouette stickers
Translucent vellum
Glue stick
- Print or write desired title on vellum.
- Apply silhouette corner stickers around text and add the butterfly. Mount on pink paper. Create border strip and apply flower silhouette to bottom of pink paper (about 1" from bottom edge).
- Rip edges of pink paper following line of border. Leave torn part exposed -- by pulling toward yourself.
- Mount flower stickers on pink paper. Cut around edges to create a mat for the flowers.

Crop photos (here, a circle cutter is used). Triple mat using same shape as photo, but use three mats in contrasting colors. Add vellum as the fourth mat. - Add silhouette stickers to vellum and mat on pink paper.
- Adhere items to lavender paper.
- Embellish page with remaining silhouette stickers.
