Consistent design elements are key to creating a stylish mini-album. Here, Sara Douglass shares her technique for carrying the same design element across all the pages.

    Materials:

    Classic Alphabet set
    Soft Swirls background stamp
White, navy and radiant white vellum card stock
    Night of Navy Craft pad
    Blue marker
    Navy eyelets

    1. Cut a 5"x7" piece of Ultrasmooth White card stock for each page.

    2. Mask (cover) with scratch paper 4-1/4" of each page, leaving 2-3/4" of white cardstock showing (figure A).

    3. Stamp Soft Swirls background with navy ink on the white cardstock and allow to dry completely before removing the mask.

    4. Use blue marker to fill heart shapes (figure B).

    5. Type desired text, print on vellum, and cut to size. Attach with navy eyelets.

    6. Trim photos, layer on Night of Navy card stock, and attach to pages.
