    Project designed by Cheri Oshinsky.

    Materials:

    Design Push Mold/Bunnies #12352K
one block of Fimo Polymer Clay #0 white
one block of Fimo Polymer Clay #7 carmel
Mix-Quick small amount if needed to soften hard clay
    craft knife
baby powder, corn starch or baking soda
    blush powder makeup, pink
    small craft brush
    1-3/4" or 1" pin back
    adhesive
    two small seed beads
one round toothpick or needle tool
    acrylic sealer
    baking parchment or deli-wrap
oven or toaster-oven in well-ventilated area

    Steps:

    1. Blend a small amount of #7 carmel Fimo into #0 White Fimo clay to create a light beige color. Knead and blend the clay till it is very warm, elastic and pliable. Set aside.
    2. Dust the bunny mold with a small brush inside of the bunny of your choice with either baby powder, corn starch or baking soda. Dust all indentations and tap out any excess powder. The powder helps release the clay.
    3. Pinch a small amount of clay, about the size of a large marble and roll it into a smooth ball. Push clay into mold; fill the entire mold and push any excess clay to the edges. This will leave you with a fairly smooth back.
    4. Remove bunny from mold by lifting on the excess clay or by holding the mold upside down and tapping the bunny into your band. Brush off any excess powder.
    5. On a clean surface, trim excess clay from the bunny using a craft knife. With the side of the toothpick smooth any rough edges.
    6. Open the eye area with the end of the toothpick. Pick up a seed bead on the end of the toothpick and place it sideways in the eye. Make sure you can see only the side of the bead and not the opening of the seed bead. Secure it in place by slightly pushing the eye area closed.
    7. Put a small amount of blush on makeup brush and dust the inside of the ear, the cheek, the pads, and the toes of the feet.
    8. Place the bunny on deli-wrap or baking parchment in a pre-heated oven at 265 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn off the oven and let clay pieces completely cool in the oven. This is the hardening process.
    9. When cool, attach the pin back using the adhesive. Let adhesive set.
    Tips:
    • Bake in well-ventilated area, as overbaking can cause toxic fumes.
    • Children should have adult supervision for this project.
