Classic Car Restoration host Mark Lambert addresses the cosmetics of our 1938 Packard, showing how to color-sand and polish the exterior paint. Mark is joined by Mark Hasselback, from A-One Auto Detailers, to show how to clean our period-correct wool broadcloth upholstery, including tips for removing grease, lipstick and food. Then Mark demonstrates a beugler pinstriping tool and pinstripes a wheel, using an old record player as a turning base. He also shows the period-correct wide whitewall tires that we’ll install on the car. Lastly he measures for and then installs custom fender skirts, which will make our "junior" Packard look longer and more impressive.
