Designer Shetha Nolke has some tricks up her sleeve for knitting hidden messages into projects. She demonstrates illusion, or shadow, knitting, which creates a subtle patterning that appears and disappears depending on the angle at which it is viewed. Host Vickie Howell also presents her custom design: a scarf with a "knitted holograph" that says
knitster. How to design, chart and knit illusion patterns will be explained.
