Host Gary Bunzer sets out for the California State Fair in Sacramento in this episode of RV Roadtrips.
|
Before setting out for the California State Fair, the Phillips family stops at a weigh station to ensure that the RV weight is distributed properly and is road ready. With the help of Gary Bunzer, the host of DIY's
RV Roadtrips, the family learns the proper way to weigh an RV. Once the weight of the vehicle is determined the family can accurately inflate the tires. After the vehicle is safely prepared the Phillips family set out for their destination.
In Act 2 Gary teaches them some important steps on annual refrigerator maintenance. With Gary's help Jim Phillips goes through all of the steps that should be done every year to keep an RV refrigerator in working order. Gary also shows the couple a quick way to remove soot and dust from their water heater--while at the campground. Once the projects are complete, Chris steps in to give some of her helpful campground advice, like how to keep ants out of the RV. And in the final segment, Gary visits three other RVers and their rigs and troubleshoots some of the maintenance issues they are experiencing.
