In this episode of
Weekend Handyman host Paul Ryan will totally transform a plain white ceiling into a beautiful, craftsman style custom wood ceiling. The system is easy -- a true DIY project -- and a basic 12 x 12 room really can be completed in one weekend. If you're thinking about those old drop ceilings, think again. When Paul is done, this grid and panel wood ceiling will look like the work of a woodworking master. The grids are made from maple with a nutmeg stain and the panels will be made out of birch.
