In this episode,
Weekend Mechanic Bruce Bonebrake pulls the seized-up engine out of a car in preparation for replacing it with a new one. Inspection reveals a large hole in the side of the old engine. Disassembly of the old engine includes removal of the fan, AC system, throttle linkage, radiator hoses, alternator, power-steering pump, belts, crank-shaft pulley, and exhaust shield. The motor mounts are disconnected, and an engine hoist is used to pull the old engine out of the car.
