To begin the actual installation process, host Mayita Dinos and crew fill the newly built framework with pea gravel, then set the fountain in place. The base and each individual level are secured with epoxy. - Fill the frame with pea gravel. Remember, the surface must be level with the surrounding ground.
- Grade the area again to bring the surface back to level.
- Put the base of the fountain on the gravel, following manufacturer's instructions.
- Put Permagum (TM) around the top of the hole of the base, and set the first tier of the fountain on the base. Use Permagum (TM) between all the levels.
- Put the pump in the center of the bowl, and thread the pump cord down through the bottom of the fountain.
- Place the next level of the fountain in place, and visually center it.
- Put the pump tubing through the top hole and into the pump.
- Place the next tier of fountain in place, making sure that the tubing comes up through the hole.
- Place the next tier of fountain in place, making sure that the tubing comes up through the hole.
- Put the top of the fountain in place, threading the tubing as close to the top as possible.
- Thread the electrical cord at the bottom through the PVC pipe.
