Gionni Thompson, Stud Finder WinnerGionni is an avid do-it-yourselfer and one of DIY Network's newest hosts. He started teaching himself how to do home improvement projects when he bought his first house - a serious fixer-upper - and has continued to gain experience and confidence over the course of several homes and investment properties.
Gionni recently won DIY Network's Stud Finder, a contest to find America's best handyman to host his own show on the network. When he's not fixing up houses, this Colorado native teaches high school science and spends time with his wife and three sons.
Matt Blashaw
Matt loves home improvement projects so much he has turned them into a profession. Owner of his own handyman business, Matt puts his skills to use helping homeowners around his native southern California improve their homes. Outside of work, Matt spends time with his wife Teresa and his family.
Darla Pitts
Darla Pitts learned to do home improvement projects the hard way, through trial and error. She bought a fixer-upper about ten years ago and started checking out books from the library to help her learn to do projects around the house. Since then she has completely transformed the home herself, from roofing to adding a second floor.
Darla lives in Chicago, where she works as a firefighter.
